NPHC Plaza Project
Mississippi State’s Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life is planning to honor the National Pan-Hellenic Council with a new campus plaza and raising $1.6 million for the project.
About the project.
To be located at the corner of George Perry and Barr Avenue, the space will help tell the history of NPHC organizations and respective MSU chapters. Along with recognizing the NPHC community, the plaza will provide a new venue for chapter anniversaries, member presentations, Founder’s Day celebrations, alumni tailgates, social gatherings and more. “The plaza will be a place where we can share history and the NPHC story with the rest of the MSU community,” said Assistant Dean of Students Jackie Mullen, who oversees the Center for Student Activities and Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life. “Giving to this project can honor current organizations and pave the way for future students to benefit from this space and the sense of community it will provide."
